Neuro-Tourism

"Nothing could ever happen in this affectless realm, where entropic drift calmed the surfaces of a thousand swimming pools." J.G. Ballard, Cocaine Nights, 1996

"Geoff Manaugh takes a Ballardian approach, using the distancing device of J.G. Ballard’s mid-period novels to bring a psychological attitude fully formed from the future, depositing it in the present day as if it was commonplace. "
Simon Sellars

About the revitalkisation of New Orleans : Prospect.1 New Orleans has been designed to help reinvigorate New Orleans following the human, civic, and economic devastation left by Katrina in 2005. The long-term primary goal of the biennial exhibition is to redefine the city as a cultural destination, where the visual arts are celebrated and can once again thrive. Prospect.1 New Orleans aspires to initiate a new category of cultural tourism for the city, on a scale normally seen during Mardi Gras and the city's celebrated Jazz-Fest.

O2

OGO still water comes from a natural spring water source in Tilburg. OGO calls it “The Breathing Water” because it has an oxygen concentration that is around 35 times higher than regular water. The character of the spring water is complemented by the natural oxygenation process. The oxygenation process has been developed and patented by Fritz Kurzer. It delivers “a high oxygen concentration level and a high stability of the oxygen water”. This patented process is conducted in The O-Company’s Tilburg facility prior to bottling. OGO Oxygenwater is instantly recognisable in its distinctively round 33cl bottle. (design Ora Ito)
